iPhone + Results Day!

It's been a crazy few days boys and girls, so I think this post might be better split into two sections :-)

1) iPhone

I got my BlackBerry Storm stolen about a month ago and since then I've been totally uncontactable whilst on the go. Needless to say, this was complete and utter hell, especially since I went on holiday with my family to Alnwick so had no internet either! But I had a spur of the moment splurge on a brand new iPhone and I've not looked back. Seriously.. it's fantastic :-) I love everything about it! Although I have found one flaw (not with the iPhone.. with an App I downloaded). It did make me laugh though;

Basically, you're supposed to scan the barcode of something and the phone will know what it is and find where you can get it cheapest. After I scanned the can of Coca-Cola, it though it was a Surveillance Camera System. Not quite :-) This being said.. I love my iPhone!

2) Results Day

The 20th of August was A Level results day, so for all the students like me it was the moment of fate to see whether or not I'd got into Uni! After hours of waiting I finally got to college at 11.45 and opened my envelope. I got ABB! :-) I was so happy it was unbelievable, I got my place at Nottingham Trent University with my best friend Lauren! After that I had a few drinks with the college people then headed home to change and go out for a few drinks with everyone else. I had a really good time and was just so happy!

For the daytime I opted for a gorgeous QED London dress I bought from a boutique in Newark, at £35 it was a complete bargain! It's white with red poppies at the bottom, and it's just above the knee. I teamed it with classic white court shoes, white pearls and a cute red Primark cardie. It's more casual than what I wore for college (formal, businesslike attire).. but I love it and got quite a few compliments. Here's a photo of me and my friend Lou:

As you can see I opted for a very natural make-up look, I don't like to wear a lot during the day so just went for some pencil eyeliner and mascara.

Here's a photo of me and Lauren in Varsity, we're officially Uni buddies now! :-) At nighttime I changed into a purple one-shoulder "Glamorous" dress from the same boutique. It's a gorgeous deep purple and had a pretty bow on the shoulder, but I don't really have a clear photo of it! I had a really good night out celebrating with everyone, the local club had a 3 for 1 drinks offer so it was cheap too! For going out I added more eyeliner and put mascara on my lower lashes too for a more dramatic look. When it's going to be hot I really don't see a need in lots of make-up.
Here's what I looked like:

I'm sorry I've been away for a while and that this post wasn't really fashion related, I just wanted to update you on what was going on in my life :-) I hope everyone that had A Level results got what they wanted and had a great time celebrating. Packing for Uni has commenced as I move in to my flat on the 29th August, so it might be a while until I post again!

First Post! :-)

Alright gorgeous?

This is the first post on my new fashion blog, a blog totally dedicated to fashion. Clothes are one of my biggest loves in life and I wanted to share the happiness they bring me with everyone else out there! This blog will contain everything and anything I know about clothes, some of my clothes.. and the odd random post from time to time. I spend way too much money on clothes, and although I know this it doesn't stop me buying more :-) Most of my posts will probably be hauls.. I'm awful at not spending money!

Seeing as this is my first post I'd like to first thank Gemma from Gemsmaquillage for inspiring me to start this blog. I stumbled across her "Lauren Conrad Tutorial" on YouTube about a month ago and since then I've subscribed to her YouTube, Twitter and Blog - She's amazing :-)
She always looks lovely and I love watching her videos, even her random little ones.. they always make me smile. So thank you Gemma for being so brilliant (not to mention gorgeous!) and inspiring me to write this.
If you haven't subscribed to her blog, then do so here: you won't regret it! She also introduced me to YSL Faux Cils.. something which I am eternally grateful for!

Another thing I'm going to do because this is my first post is write a bit about myself so you can know the "girl behind the blog" as they say :-) I saw this on Faffaholic's blog (another ace blog to subscribe to here!) although I wasn't tagged, I thought I'd give it a go anyway.
